Isata Kanneh-Mason: Romance The Piano Music of Clara Schumann CD

Big sister to cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason, pianist Isata releases her Decca debut album, Romance. The album illuminates the world of Isata's musical heroine, Clara Schumann, in her 200th anniversary year. Isata joins forces with an all-female lineup to champion Schumann, recording the Piano Concerto in A minor with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Holly Mathieson, and Three Romances for Violin & Piano with violinist and former BBC New Generation Artist Elena Urioste.
